I come to you today to talk about sin. Specifically YOUR sin; and I can assure you, it is NOT going to be a pleasant experience.
Having vices and falling short of the glory of God is forgivable; in fact, it is the normal condition in which the whole of humanity finds itself, myself included. However, lying to yourself about your failures, or about what is or is not acceptable behavior, is NOT okay, and it will put you in danger of the locust or the tormentor. However, TEACHING OTHERS to lie to THEMSELVES; and in so doing, dragging another person down into the pit with you; is an ABOMINATION which will put you in danger of HELLFIRE.
People often wonder what the “unforgivable sin,” or “blasphemy against the Holy Ghost” is. It is simply this: LYING TO ONESELF. It is acting as if God has changed his Eternal Law to somehow be more accommodating, or that he has made a special dispensation just for some select group of people; a dispensation that JUST SO HAPPENS to match exactly their own desires for how they want to behave or what they desire to be true. To put it in psychological terms, the unforgivable sin is DENIAL. And here is why.
Whenever you allow yourself to call good evil, or evil good, you are actually rewiring your brain’s synapses. Prolonged denial over a period of years can so reshape the brain that it gives the person a form of permanent brain damage. We’ve all met people like this; they speak in a loop like a malfunctioning robot, never acknowledging what you’ve said and always circling back around to their original statement in a never-ending cycle. Always learning, but never coming to a knowledge of the truth.
The reason they behave this way is that they have literally DESTROYED their moral compass. They’ve taken their moral compass and deliberately SMASHED it, through years of making excuses for their sins. Unable to bear the shame of their iniquities, they retreat into themselves, rather than face up to the unpleasant and very often protracted effort required to effect meaningful change and self-improvement. They can no longer be forgiven because THEY NO LONGER FEEL THE NEED TO ASK FOR FORGIVENESS. The spirit has flown from them and they are wandering naked in the dark. God cannot FORCE forgiveness on such a person, and though that person may not be able to recognize NOW that this is what they have done to themselves, they most certainly knew that this was the case WHEN THEY WERE DOING IT. They CHOSE to brainwash themselves; either through the willful internalization of their own lies, or as a result of believing somebody else’s. Now that the process is complete they are wandering blindly in the dark with no working compass to guide the way home, and it is much too late for them to do anything but drown when the flood comes.
The Law of God is a mirror. The surface of the mirror never changes, it only reflects the countenance of the person viewing themself in it. If you don’t like what you see when you look in the mirror, the solution is not to get a new mirror, or to draw a mustache on it, or to SMASH IT TO BITS. If you gaze into the Law and find yourself covered in filth, uncleanness, and profanity, then the correct solution is not to throw it down in a harrumph and run to the nearest New Testament Epistle in order to assuage your hurt feelings, like a child who continues to drink milk which was intended specifically for an audience of ancient people who were stumbling in the dark 2,000 years ago without access to a complete and finished copy of the Bible or a working internet connection. YOU are not a child, and YOU have no excuse to be drinking milk at your age.
The epistles are not the Law. They are general purpose teachings regarding charitable Christian behavior and interpersonal relations that can in no way supersede a direct commandment from The King of Israel, whom you claim to serve, and whom you claim to be preparing yourself to meet. They carry no weight of law and were never intended to be taken as such. They were written for the specific purpose of instructing ignorant Greeks 2,000 years ago in how to keep the SPIRIT of the Law at a time when the LETTER was too great a burden for an ancient Greek or other Gentile to bear. WE are not the early church; WE are at the end of the age; and WE no longer have any excuses for not observing the simple, straightforward, and unambiguous commandments of the Most High. The Jews lived in the wilderness and they kept the law. YOU live in luxury accommodations which those ancient Jews would consider heaven on earth, and yet you still eat animals who are smarter than dogs and which have been given a special dispensation from God NOT to be eaten by humans, thus violating the God-given rights of the animal whilst further defiling your own unclean body at the same time. And all because you couldn't be bothered to simply pick a different kind of food from the ENDLESS selection available at your local grocery store.
Stunning and Brave.
Jesus kept kosher; Jesus kept the Sabbath; Jesus observed the High Sabbaths; and Jesus MOST CERTAINLY observed the DAY OF ATONEMENT. You are supposed to be acting like Jesus, not acting like yourself. Acting like yourself is what got you into this mess in the first place. If you are making no effort to become more like Christ; if you aren’t pushing the boulder up the hill in order to shed yourself of your vices, laziness, and all manner of profanities; if you aren’t actively and systematically incorporating the Law of God into your behavior and intentionally writing it onto the inside of your heart slowly but surely over time; then you are lying to yourself, you have no interest in being like Jesus, and you simply think that Christ’s sacrifice is some sort of Golden Ticket into heaven which requires no real effort or sacrifice on your part. A person like this is the very DEFINITION of a tree which bears no fruit.
If the Law makes you uncomfortable: GOOD, THAT’S WHAT IT’S SUPPOSED TO DO. If the Law makes you uncomfortable, then maybe that should tell you something about yourself. It’s called conviction. Sinners NEVER want to talk about the law. They always want to change the subject to some out of context passage they pulled out of an Epistle like Galatians or Colossians or Corinthians; as if spouting some pap-laced watery milk-gruel intended for “Baby’s First Bible Lesson” somehow negates the legal requirements and obligations of a LITERAL COMMANDMENT written in PRECISE LEGAL LANGUAGE spoken DIRECTLY FROM THE MOUTH OF THE MOST HIGH GOD.
Love may cover a multitude of sins, but that’s only if one is IGNORANT of the Law. YOU are not ignorant. YOU have now been instructed. You have had access to a Bible day and night for your entire life, and if you only chose to read the parts that made you feel good about yourself, then you need to start getting your affairs in order and begin the process of shedding your vices, your profanities, your uncleanness, and all of your pet sins; which do nothing but whisper sweet sounding lies in your ear and cater to the desires of your own fallen flesh as they slowly rot your mind from within. You are free to address this situation in whatever manner you see fit; your salvation is your own, to be worked out in due time with the appropriate level of fear and trembling. We’ve all got our own basket of fish to fry, and you are more than welcome to sort YOURS in whatever order of descending importance you wish. But the time is short, and you need to GET COOKING SOON, otherwise it’s going to be too late and, in being so warned, you will be fully responsible for whatever fate God has set aside for such a useless type of person; one who has willfully blinded them self to their own sin and who is no longer able to grow as a person. The reason Jesus told you to become like a little child WASN’T so that you could forget your worries and go play children’s games in the back garden all day. No. What it TRULY means to humble yourself like a little child; and what constitutes the dividing line between a CHILD and an ADULT; is that A CHILD DOESN’T THINK THAT THEY ARE DONE GROWING UP.
In short, DO NOT CAST AWAY YOUR MIRROR; you will live to regret it, whether it be in this life or the next. But the most important lesson of all as we rapidly approach the end of the age; the lesson upon which hangs the entirety of the Gospel of Christ; is this: DO NOT BREAK YOUR COMPASS. The first sin can be forgiven. The second one, however, even GOD HIMSELF cannot repair. Do with this information whatever you like. I neither care about the fate of your soul, nor the choices you make regarding it. It is simply not my job to care. It is my job to deliver a MESSAGE. A message which you now have received. What you choose to DO with this information in the privacy of your own soul is none of my concern.
However, BE DIRELY FOREWARNED: if you presume yourself to be a TEACHER on these matters; concerning the proper observance of the Christian faith in the context of, and pertaining to, the Unchanging Laws of God; be forewarned that in continuing to TEACH OTHERS that God’s Law has in ANY WAY changed, or that it is somehow now okay to DISREGARD God’s Law now that Christ has fulfilled the promise of the Old Testament; that it is now my job to instruct YOU. I have been granted the authority on Earth to set the crooked ways straight in the Name of The Most High God, and anyone who continues to violate these principles which I have laid out in the preceding article WILL be met with the same answer; today, tomorrow, and forever; with FIRE called down from heaven, and with the double-edged sword proceeding out of the Mouth of The Living God.
THE TIME IS SHORT. THE HOUR IS LATE. LET JUDGEMENT BEGIN AT THE HOUSE OF THE LORD.

Jesus perfectly kept the law. His death of atonement gave us who received Him the gift of His righteousness. If we somehow think we can will our flesh into holiness, we are deceived.
Jesus is full of both Truth and Grace. This is the essence of Micah 6:8. We must aspire to act justly (Truth), love mercy (Grace), and walk humbly (knowing that in our flesh we will fail to do either perfectly).
The balance of these three is the place where He restores to us the joy of our salvation, and we can rest on the simple fact that His love for us conquers all the fear, shame, and disappointments of our past as well as that of other believers.
AA, you've done so much for the cause and I'm sorry that humans have recently let you down so much. My prayer is that He will show you His love in a way that will fill you to overflowing. Jesus showed anger toward the Pharisees, but they never could steal his joy nor His love for His own, no matter how weak and fallible they were. As you note, we are to be like Him...
P.S. I give thanks everyday because Jesus took my judgment on the cross. That in itself should cause us to follow Him and honor Him with our actions and witness.
